Meet Buster!

Buster is a 2 year old male Boxer currently in Sacramento. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and weighs approximately 60 lbs.

Buster is a loving and affectionate dog who thrives on human interaction. He adores hugs, cuddles, and playing fetch with his toys. He is gentle with young children and welcomes new people both inside and outside the home. However, he does bark at people passing by when he’s inside, such as the pool cleaner, delivery drivers, or pest control.

He gets along well with the resident dog but needs to be separated during feedings. While he does not do well with unfamiliar dogs, he has never shown aggression, he barks and lunges, which can be intimidating to other dogs, but he has never harmed one.  Buster is housebroken, crate trained, and enjoys long walks. He pulls on the leash at times but responds well when corrected. He is also an escape artist and will jump the backyard fence if left unsupervised.

He is being rehomed because his current owners are unable to provide him with the exercise and attention he needs, leading to destructive behavior. He requires an active home that can meet his energy levels. We are looking for a committed foster or adopter to give Buster the time, training, and love he deserves.
